The Mortal Man Inn is the perfect place for walkers as each room has its own private ensuite facilities offering hot baths and warm towels for those acing muscles, they also have the benefit of showers. The rooms all enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, most look all the way down the valley to Lake Windermere!

Our rooms have all recently been improved, they are clean, of good size and have very comfortable beds.
We have twin rooms, king rooms, double rooms and a four poster room, all of which have charm and character.We are pet friendly both in the bar and in almost all of our rooms. The accommodation is very reasonably priced and, in staying with us, you will enjoy an informal friendly atmosphere, a good choice at breakfast, good company,  good ales, excellent food and roaring log fires.
